Dog Slip Lead 4ft (120cm) – Australian Made | 5mm Bluewater Rope

We offer both 4ft and 6ft slip leads.
The 4ft slip lead is ideal for obedience training and indoor use, providing close control.
The 6ft lead offers more freedom, making it suitable for walks and general outings. Ultimately, the choice depends on your specific needs and preferences.

When used correctly, this slip leads are safe and effective training tools. It's important to ensure the lead is fitted properly and used with appropriate technique to avoid discomfort or injury.

Always supervise your dog while using a slip lead and consult with a professional trainer if you're unsure.

To use a slip lead correctly, place the loop over your dog's head and position it high on the neck, just behind the ears. Ensure the lead is snug but not tight.

Use gentle, consistent pressure to guide your dog, releasing tension as soon as the desired behavior is achieved. Avoid jerking or yanking the lead

A slip lead can aid in training your dog not to pull by providing immediate feedback. However, it's not a standalone solution. Consistent training, positive reinforcement, and patience are key to teaching your dog to walk calmly on a lead. If pulling persists, consider seeking advice from a professional dog trainer.
