A FEW GOOD THINGS TO KNOW
BEFORE YOU BID.
Everything you need to get started, without the guesswork.
Can I place a bid without opening the product page?
Yes. Enter your amount and select Place Bid on the auction card above. You may be asked to sign in before your bid is accepted.
Do I need an account to bid?
Yes. Tipo requires you to sign in to your PK9 Gear customer account before placing a bid. You can create an account if you don't already have one.
What does the starting bid mean?
It's the opening bid amount for that item, not its buyout price. As bidding progresses, the next valid bid may be higher. Follow the amount displayed in the auction widget.
Can I buy an auction item straight away?
Some lots offer a Buyout Price button. When available, you can use it to purchase the item at the displayed buyout amount rather than wait for the auction to close.
What happens if I win an auction?
Tipo sends the winning bidder a notification with instructions for completing their purchase. Please check your email, including your junk folder, and complete checkout as directed.
How do I know if a lead is right for my dog?
Check the item's listed size, length, materials and hardware before bidding. Not sure which gear suits your dog? Ask the PK9 Gear team first.
