My GSD is very much in his teenage era where his recall has pretty much gone out the window and I’ve been looking for a leash for retrain him and this is so great to use! The tactical clip and length of leash are perfection and we’re having so much fun using this for training!

Epic, just a tad painful
After dealing with soaked, heavy, dirty long lines, this one was exactly what me and my 6 month old pup needed for our beach adventures! Sand doesn't stick to it and it dries super quickly, all while being so lightweight you barely feel it. I was worried about the clip as it looks big and heavy but it's actually so light too, i LOVE this and wish I had it on every other leash I have. So overall, I'm super happy with it.
HOWEVER, if you have a puppy that suddenly decides to take off, it huuuuurts and there is no way you could hold onto anything other than the handle (which may take your fingers off), as the line itself is extremely slippery. So it's impossible to hold him in a closer range than 10m while he's trying to pull towards a yummy dead fish or a fun new friend. The product description says "this leash is built to handle the most energetic of dogs" - yes, probably true for the leash, but not the human attached to the leash. At least not this one. I'm aware this is a me problem, I'm still very happy with this purchase and will recommend it, but I just had to take 1 star off the rating due to the pain my fingers and legs have to endure.
Maybe a "crazy puppy version" would be a great new product, with some grippy material every 2 meters or something.. Or maybe I should have combined two leashes: the shorter one of this one + the Super Grip one - so if anyone is reading this, think about your hands and your personal strength (or weakness), then decide!
